FSHS provides general, oral and mental health services. The services are at your disposal in exchange for the healthcare fee for higher education if you are covered by the Finnish social security system. The fee is compulsory for all students registered for attendance (excluding exchange students!). The fee for 2023 is €36.80 per academic term. You must pay the fee on your own initiative.

Our Student Union’s decisions are made by the Representative Council, which consists of 60 students and is elected every two years. The Council appoints HYY’s Board, which has 12 members this year. The Board is supported in its daily activities by HYY’s personnel and several committees.
We provide the organisations operating under us with different facilities they can use. The New Student House and Domma both have facilities for organising meetings, parties, academic dinner parties and sauna evenings. Some of the facilities can be reserved when needed, whereas for others, reservations are allocated during specific reservation rounds.
