Excellent textbooks and scientific literature

For almost 40 years Gaudeamus – Helsinki University Press has been publishing scientific literature and textbooks for both students of higher education institutions and a wider audience.

Gaudeamus has published successful academic books that have made their mark on the general scientific publication market – both among professionals and a wider audience.

Gaudeamus publishes about 50 - 60 new titles per year. 

In 2009, Gaudeamus' net sales amounted to EUR 1.2 million and profit before extraordinary items to EUR -0.2 million. The company employed an average of 7 people.
